Dry Hills Construction have a number of development projects in the Perth Metro that are in various stages of planning and design. Below is a sample of some of the project works we are working on.

Nollamara 8 Unit Development
Client: Phoenix Unit Trust
Location: Nollamara, Western Australia
Dry Hills Construction have been appointed to build eight units in Nollamara.
The complex consists of brick under colour bond with a strata development.
Seven two bedroom and one, one bedroom brand new affordable units will be available in early 2015. With our experience in building and quality workmanship all units will be finished to an exceptionally high standard.

Mindarie Triplex
Client: Paul McGuinness
Location: Mindarie, Western Australia
Dry Hills Construction have been appointed to build three boutique luxury apartments in Mindarie.
Challenges to face with this project include sloping sites and close proximity to public with the marina on the frontage.
Under the direction of the Dry Hills team these prestigious apartments are to be built as a brick and colour bond roof to the highest standard with quality finishing. The apartments are located in the heart of Mindarie and close to all the local amenities.
With our expertise in building these apartments will be the envy of the local community.

BER Schools, Western Australia
Client: Rapley Wilkinson
Location: Various in Pilbara, Kimberly and Gascoigne regions.
Dry Hills Construction were contracted to carry out the handover and maintenance work for new buildings which had been constructed for nine schools in the North West.
Our work was completed in some of the most remote places, including communities in the Pilbara and Kimberley.
Challenges met on this project were the remoteness of work, long travelling distances that were affected by weather conditions and road closures as well as communicating and co-ordinating with the various stake holders involved in school developments.
Our extensive knowledge of the building requirements for these areas ensured we delivered work of the highest standard and quality for our client.
As stated to by our client “Consistency in delivery of the maintenance program ensured minimal disruption to the school term”

The Pilbara Drug & Alcohol Centre,
Client: SIPS Industries
Location: Port Hedland, Western Australia
Dry Hills Construction were contracted for the building of this project for SIPS Industries. The building was constructed for a Drug and Alcohol Centre, south of Port Hedland, which had to comply with alternative building practices such as polystyrene centred sips panels. The panels formed the wall structure as well as the roofing structure which was then enveloped with metal sheeting. This style of building calls for a fast paced delivery. Our experience of building in this part of Australia ensured a smooth construction process was undertaken.
The work carried out involved the construction of structural insulated walls, roofing panels and beams and columns.

Port Headland Units
Client: Truss Factory
Location: Port Hedland, Western Australia
Port Hedland is a town of 20,200 people located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
Dry Hills Construction supplied 22 employees for this particular project which was for forty four units at the BHP Billiton accommodation facility in Port Hedland.
The type of work carried out by our employees involved the erection of the framework, structural steel, install of interior linings, insulation and weather board exterior claddings.
We commenced this project in November 2012 and finished in March 2013, achieving this ahead of program, despite the North West variant shut down periods.
As stated by our client “delivery of this project was achieved by Dry Hills commitment to time and budget”

Halls Creek Grouped Housing GROH
Client: Rapley
Location: Halls Creek, Western Australia
Halls Creek is situated in the heart of the Kimberley and is the fourth fastest growing shire within Western Australia.
Dry Hills completed the construction of eighteen houses in the Kimberley town of Halls Creek. The work carried out for these properties involved erecting the frame work, structural steel, roof framing, weather board exterior cladding, installation of timber for the steel stairs, installation of kitchens, the hanging of all interior doors, skirtings, installation of bathroom fittings and fit out of wardrobe/linen cupboard shelving.
Work conditions in the Kimberley had this project working through the rainy season as well as the heat. Transport and other logistics were critically managed due to the remote location of Halls Creek, of which were pertinent to the delivery time frames.
Our extensive experience with this particular work ensured the delivery of quality finished houses for the Halls Creek community.
As stated by our client “work was carried out in an extremely efficient manner”

Derby Grouped Dwellings
Client: Rapley Wilkinson Pty Ltd
Location: Knowsley Street, Derby WA
Derby is a town in the Kimberley region of Western Australia and is an internationally renowned centre for advanced transport manufacturing.
Dry Hills Construction were contracted for this project of constructing eleven houses in the Kimberley town of Derby.
The contract involved works carried out for installation of framework, structural steel and roof trusses for these houses.
As stated by our client “Programming efficiency by the Dry Hills team contributed to the success of this project”

Warrawandu Village- CIMC
Warrawandu, Jimblebar, Western Australia
Between June 2013 and June 2014 Dry Hills Construction carried out major maintenance work at the Warrawandu Village Jimblebar mines.
This work was FIFO with the nearest town being Newman.
Maintenance
Dry Hills Construction undertakes school, site and camp maintenance works as well. Covering areas such as cladding, painting, roof rectification, wet area repairs, gyprock repair and general maintenance programming.
